About Cody D.

Cody D. is a journalist, producer, and media personality based in Birmingham, AL. In 2012, Cody created CoCo’s Tea, a pop culture platform for black millennials. From the 'Daily Cup of CoCo's Tea' videos to over 100 episodes of the 'CoCo's Tea Podcast', CoCo's Tea was a place where people receive culturally relevant news. Over the years Cody has worked for Bham Now, Summit Media, ABC 33/40 and is now the local government and communities reporter for WBHM. Cody has a knack for smart story telling, commentary, and podcasting.
